| Born in Summerside,
PEI, David Alexander was converted
in 1992 by the grace of God from Paganism to Christianity. While
attending a local church in Halifax, meeting on the Dalhousie
University campus, he met his future wife Gina. They married in
1997, and now reside in Dartmouth, with
their three children Lauren (2000), Sarah (2002), and Andrew (2006). Drawn to the Reformed Faith by the simplicity of worship, and
its confessional standards, the Alexanders became members of
Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church in 1998, and Dave was ordained
as a ruling elder in 1999.
A Mechanical Engineering Technology graduate from Cape
Breton University, Sydney Nova Scotia, he has been employed with
a local aerospace company since 1993. An avid fly fisherman since
early years, he now enjoys touring the New Scotland countryside in
the pursuit of Salmo Salar & Salmo Trutta. |

Mr. Kevin Bigney
Ruling Elder

Kevin Bigney
was born and raised near Truro, Nova Scotia. He moved to Halifax to
attend University at Dalhousie where he eventually received a BA in
English, after a few tortuous years. He currently resides in
Shubenacadie with his wife Tracy and four tykes - Nathanael (1999),
Erin (2001), Jesse (2005), and Joanna (2007). He currently works in the hardwood
refinishing industry, inhaling dust and fumes all day. Thankfully,
he has few other dangerous habits.
Kevin and Tracy began attending Covenant Reformed regularly in
1997 and became members in February, 1999. After a long struggle
with the doctrine of infant baptism, Nathanael was baptized in
August, 2000 and they haven't looked back since. Kevin became an
elder in May of 2003. |
